Snow and a Mountain-top Swing
- Wildflowers have exploded
Today I had the day off from everything and went putzing around my own backyard: the Sierra Buttes. There is still an amazing amount of snow in the higher elevations.
We were stopped on the jeep road by a huge drift and had to continue on foot. In a tank top! My dog is loving it! But there is a huge amount of lush greenery & flowers everywhere.
People who have lived here for decades say they have never seen this much snow before.

The best part was the mysterious swing we came across. I don’t know who put it there, but it’s the best swing I have ever been on with incredible views.
